Price transparency:
When I first started doing genealogy professionally, I didn’t quite understand why other people put their prices so high. After doing my first few jobs, I realised. It takes a lot of work. Not only that, but there are additional costs from the subscriptions and even having to purchase records. I try and keep my prices as low and affordable as possible, but I also want to make sure I don’t end up spending more than I have been paid.
I understand money can be tight, especially in a cost of living crisis. I am a disabled student so understand money struggles more than some. If you are interested in genealogy services, but cannot afford to pay it all in once, I am happy to arrange for you to pay in chunks monthly.
